Arts Council England, OfSTED, National Literacy Strategy
and Qualifications and Curriculum Authority have all
published helpful guidance that is not statutory. Some
of it addresses the English curriculum. Levels of Attainment
are addressed differently, using different models. Only
OfSTED have considered the transition from KS3 to KS4.
This day's workshop unpicks: What is
it we want to teach? How do we usefully assess it? How do we tie both into GCSE courses?
You will get a chance to sketch out
your own model, as well as having a model presented.
